The weak WiFi was the main letdown. Some parts of the hotel had a very poor signal, and I hope they look into it. Still, we had a great stay and I'd recommend the place. We may come back. We chose half board and found it worthwhile, especially with a baby or toddler. It saved us the trouble of finding somewhere to eat in the evening, and made the stay much easier. The food had a wide selection and good flavour. Staff were generally polite and attentive. The dining-room team did a great job clearing tables, and the housekeeping ladies kept everything spotless. The hotel was pristine, always smelled lovely, and was well placed and accessible. It had a range of amenities and activities for all ages. We were pleased to find a playground with a water park and a kids' clubhouse, though neither was running during our visit. Management said they usually start in March. Our room was decent for the price, with a city view and not much sun coming in, which didn't bother us. We picked the hotel on a work colleague's recommendation. It's not too far from the airport and easy to reach by public transport. We took the train. Since the area is hilly, there's a lift you can take to Torremolinos town centre and towards the hotel, for 50 cents per person.

There was loads for the kids to do, and the activities were great fun, with really lovely and helpful staff leading them. The hotel is in a good area near plenty of attractions. In the pedro, there's a bar and a pond, and you'd sometimes see ducks wandering around at night, which brought the place to life. It was a brilliant holiday from my point of view.

The food was the one letdown for me. It felt underwhelming, more like cafeteria meals. Otherwise everything was excellent, and I'd happily stay again. See you same time next year haha. I really enjoyed the hotel and the staff were fantastic. The cleaning team kept everything spotless, and the bar staff were amazing, friendly, efficient, and made the evenings really enjoyable.

After the awful first night, Annie from hotel quality helped make things a little better. When I showed her photos of the room, she was upset and asked me to wait while she spoke with her manager. About 10 minutes later she took me to the neighbouring hotel, Sol dan Pablo. It had just been renovated, and we were given a suite with a full refrigerator, champagne, and chocolates as an apology. I'm grateful to her for helping us put the incident behind us a little. Even so, I don't recommend the SAN DAN PEDRO Hotel. ANNIE said it would be renovated in a year. This trip was a birthday present for our son, who had just turned four. We had booked for two adults and one child and emailed Sol dan Pedro about a month and a half ahead with our requests. They replied that they'd do everything they could to make sure we had a good time. But on our first day, close to midnight, we arrived tired and the receptionist, DAVID, said the room was reserved for two adults only. We waited there for 30 minutes. When we finally got into the room at 12:30 pm, it was small and dirty, with a dirty bathroom and toilet and just one double bed. We called reception again. Another 30 minutes later, a guard brought an extra bed, but there was hardly any room for it. The air conditioning didn't work, the room was very hot, and the beds left us with back pain, so we didn't sleep until morning.

The beds were comfortable, the walk-in shower was excellent, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Reception staff gave us a warm welcome, and breakfast had loads of choice. The staff were extremely polite and efficient. One of the best hotels I've stayed at. I can't wait to come back and will book again in the New Year.
