Hotel Tarik

The pool was quiet and clean, and a lovely place to relax. Breakfast was a fresh, tasty buffet with plenty of choice. My room was spotless and comfortable, with a lovely sea view. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling and happy to share local tips. Hotel Tarik in Torremolinos (Málaga) is right across from the beach, with good restaurants and shops just a short walk away. It has a relaxed, charming feel and was great value for money. I'd happily stay again for another beach getaway.

The location was great, in a quiet spot a minute from the beach and local shop (Marcedona). We stayed almost a week and were satisfied overall, probably 4.5 out of five. We came by hired car and could always find a parking space in front of or behind the hotel. When we arrived early and our room wasn't ready, they let us leave our suitcase and use a changing room with a bathroom. Our room was fine, very clean and had a huge balcony. There was a mini bar/fridge, but it was weak. The breakfast was delicious, though almost always the same. The light switches sometimes made an electrical sound when they weren't switched properly. The shower water changed from very hot to very cold several times each day. For couples, the two beds pushed together aren't ideal, as they easily move apart.

The pool was a highlight and the cocktails were amazing. Hotel Tarik had a cosy, distinctive boutique feel, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout. It was good value, and we'd be very happy to come back. There were two small snags. The mini fridge felt unusually warm on the outside and didn't keep our things cold. We reported it to Reception, but were told that was normal. Also, I shared the room with three friends, and another mirror outside the bathroom would have been helpful. Apart from those points, everything else was excellent. Thanks to the team at Hotel Tarik for making our stay so enjoyable.

The location is lovely, right by the beach, and there's a big supermarket Mercadona close by. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and very helpful. My room was clean and cosy, and breakfast was tasty. I had such a great time at the Tarik Hotel that I didn't want to leave. If I return, I'd stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting a home-like stay in Torremolinos. Thank you, and all the best to the hotel.
