Villa Bonita

The villa is in a calm, uncrowded area, and the shared bathroom was spacious and very clean. The AC worked amazingly well. It’s less than five minutes from the beach and about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. A large shopping area is only a few stops away by train, with a cinema, karting, and food options around a five-minute train ride away. The room was small and didn’t block much sound. There was no shade on the rooftop, where the jacuzzi tub is flammable. Still, it was a perfect place for a few days.

It was very clean, but there was no breakfast despite being a B&B. The mattresses were really old and uncomfortable, and it was noisy. We tried contacting the owner while we were there, but he never replied to our questions.

On our second night, the owner held a party. The guests were drunk and kept singing and shouting loudly late into the night. When I raised the issue, I was told nothing would be done. My friend and I got no warning or notice, and not even an apology for the disturbance. I don’t understand why they accepted our booking for a night with an event planned. It felt like a greedy way to make money with no regard for paying guests. The property has printed rules telling guests not to make noise at night, but apparently the hosts don’t follow them.

The villa has a pool and is 8 km from Malaga airport. The rooms vary, and we chose one with a private bathroom. Good for the price.
