We love these seafront apartments, but this stay was disrupted by workmen knocking plaster off some walls from 9am. We hadn't been told about the work, and there was no discount for the noise.

We had a fantastic trip and I’m sure we’ll come back. I’d only ask for air conditioning in the top-floor bedroom. The room had a modern kitchen, and the sun terrace was gorgeous and spacious. I’d seen mixed reviews of Lloyd’s Beach Club, but our stay was spot on: right by the beach, with sea views, a great location, and friendly staff.

A little shabby, but clean, and you can’t beat the beachfront spot. The staff were lovely and communication was really easy.

The pool was nice, clean, and warm enough. The rooftop could use some shade, though, and the terrace doors seem due for replacement. Our room was okay, but cleanliness could have been better. The beach is fairly rocky, which might be tricky with a smaller child. The bar downstairs can get a bit noisy, though it stayed within limits. All in all, things were fine.

We’d be happy to visit again. It was lovely falling asleep to the sound and sight of the seashore, and there was plenty of street parking nearby. We asked about checking in early and got a friendly welcome. The room smelled fresh and was spotless. The rooms could use a refresh, but that didn’t spoil our stay at this clean, well-serviced hotel.
