Hotel Santa Anna

We spent eleven nights here and loved this little hotel’s personality and superb staff. Albert, Gloria, Martine and Judith really made the place. We arrived very late after asking for a snack, and Albert had put together an exceptional spread at one in the morning. That set the tone for the whole stay. The restaurant food is fabulous, and the restaurant is exceptional. The pool is right next door, with service from the hotel. It’s right in the centre of town, and you can walk to the beach. Can’t recommend it enough. Brilliant, go there.

We were so pleased with the service, food and facilities. There’s much needed parking and a pool, and breakfast is served on the fourth floor with a nice view of the coast. The hotel is right by the most touristy area, passeig maritim, and very close to the beach. Just don’t expect luxurious rooms.

The staff were very friendly, which was a plus. But the hotel feels overpriced for what you get. The rooms are comfortable, though they haven’t been renovated in a long time. Breakfast was very limited. There are no blackout curtains, only thin, transparent ones, so the outside lights keep the room bright at night. That could be a problem for light sleepers or parents of kids sensitive to light.

Gloria, Albert and the rest of their team gave us tremendous service, and I can’t thank them enough. The hotel is just behind the main promenade, with a private swimming pool and bar. The restaurant food is excellent and very good value.
