It’s a beautiful building in a peaceful spot just outside the city. We were staying in a monastery, so quiet and respectful behavior matters. The staff were very friendly, and our simple room was spotless when we arrived. It wasn’t cleaned during our stay, but at that price I thought the value was hard to beat. Our room had its own toilet and shower, plus air-conditioning. We paid just €160 for three nights, two dinners, and two breakfasts. The meals were simple but tasty, and shouldn’t be compared with what you’d get at a five-star hotel. My rating reflects the price. I’d definitely like to come back.

The food was excellent, and both the staff and the sisters were attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything. The architecture and design make the place feel very welcoming. The spaces are really well set up, especially for the hottest summer weather. Highly recommended!

A very practical hostel, with good-quality school food. It’s a good base for green living and getting closer to the delta.

I absolutely loved my stay and would go back in a heartbeat. In May it was completely empty, which was exactly what I wanted. Everything was spotless, simple, and incredibly peaceful. The grounds are spectacular, with hectares of orange, olive, and pine trees to walk among while listening to the birds. The gardeners keep everything immaculate, not a leaf out of place. There’s a huge swimming pool, since they also have a youth hostel. Breakfast is available for €4, though I didn’t order it.
