I booked at the last minute during the height of tourist season because of an emergency caused by a terrible fire in the area. The price was very affordable, and everything I needed was there: crisp, clean sheets, plenty of fresh towels, good wi-fi, cold water downstairs, and a fast, clean elevator. The people were VERY kind and accommodating. I saw a disgruntled guest's terrible one-star review, but I'm glad I ignored it. I'd definitely come back if I needed somewhere to stay in Tortosa. Ten stars!

For 35 euros I had a simple, clean single room with an en suite bath/shower and toilet. It was a good place to crash after a long journey. The walls are thin, so I could hear the neighbours, but I was tired enough to sleep well anyway. It's close to the bus station, with plenty of places to eat nearby. I skipped the 8-euro breakfast, which looked adequate when I passed the breakfast room looking for tea. They only sell the full breakfast, not individual items, so I walked less than five minutes for a cup of green tea. I'd happily stay here again if I visited Tortosa.

For a three-star hotel, I think you get your money's worth. It's well located in Tortosa, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and wifi good enough for work calls from my room. There's also an excellent restaurant next door that stays open until 11:30 PM.
