We were a bit puzzled when we arrived in Fornells de la Muntanya after hiking from Ribes de Freser, since it wasn't clear that check-in was at the nearby cafe. Once we settled in, the room's cozy cabin feel suited the little town. The staff were very friendly, and it's a quiet, very affordable place to get away. A couple of things let it down for us: the Wi-Fi didn't work in our room, and there was no coffee there, so we had to walk a few minutes down the road to buy some at the cafe. We weren't there long, so the Wi-Fi issue didn't matter too much.

We had lovely mountain views and a great atmosphere in this peaceful location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We stopped here last summer on a motorcycle trip, and it was a great place to rest and enjoy the mountains. The food was really good, and there was loads of it. Lovely service too. Thanks :)

María and Josefina really made our visit to Cal Pastor. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home. Josefina has a lovely personal touch, while María puts so much care into the restaurant. Together they look after every detail and create such a warm, genuine welcome. We could enjoy the quiet and the region's excellent traditional food, and we'll definitely come back.
