Elisabeth by the Sea Hotel 5*

Our wedding weekend at Elisabeth by the Sea in Tossa de Mar was incredible. The rooftop party they hosted went beyond what we expected, with exquisite food and flawless service. The bar team and staff were energetic, friendly, and professional. Becky deserves a special mention for her five-star hosting. She was warm, professional, and on top of every detail, which made the celebration feel seamless and unforgettable. Everyone who stayed at Elisabeth by the Sea for the wedding had an amazing time. It felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to make the weekend so memorable. Absolutely fantastic hotel, highly recommended!

The bar service downstairs and on the rooftop fell well below what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. The staff seemed disengaged and unprofessional, as though guests were a nuisance. It’s a shame, because the property has so much potential, and with bar service to match the Front Desk it would be an outstanding stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with cozy, comfortable rooms and stunning views from what feels like the best location in Tossa. The Front Desk team was excellent, kind, and attentive.

Everything was great, from the rooms and spa to the rooftop pool. The staff were helpful, professional, and so much fun. I’d love to come back. My only slight complaint is that there were a lot of small children. It really should be adults only.

The rooftop bartenders and the kind doorman were the bright spots. The rooms are nice, but the beds are very short, and my legs hung off the edge. There’s also little reason to book hotel parking for €25 a day when public car parks are within walking distance and cost only €10-12 per day. I can’t understand how this hotel got 5 stars. The service from reception through breakfast was among the worst I’ve encountered. Staff were unfriendly and impatient.
