The room felt stuffy because we couldn't use the air conditioner for health reasons, and the noise from the restaurants and crowds of tourists right below the windows made it hard to sleep both day and night. The room is tiny, with hardly any space to move, no table, an old and inconvenient wardrobe, and an IKEA hanging fabric shelf inside it where everything falls off. The cramped bathroom has nowhere to put things. There's a strange unpleasant smell throughout the building, and the room smells like mold even though none is visible. Tap water smells strongly of chlorine. Getting to the room is difficult too, the staircase is narrow and very steep, with no elevator. The sea nearby didn't seem suitable for swimming: there were lots of brown jellyfish, and the water looked polluted, with bubbling that seemed like a sign of chemical contamination. At most, this might work for one night. It's not suitable for a proper holiday.

The beds were too soft, and we could hear the neighbors clearly. Still, taking everything into account, I give it a full rating. The location is great, with lovely views over the beach, and the receptionist was friendly.

We stayed in room 307, which had everything we needed, including a great shower and a really powerful hairdryer. The balcony views were fantastic, and the staff were wonderful. There's a shared fridge downstairs, along with a kettle and microwave. We used the fridge often and nothing went missing, and the cleaner came every day. My husband and I are both 60. We visited Tossa de Mar last year and stayed in a hotel, and were surprised by how lovely the hostels were, so this year, 23, we decided to try one. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The balcony gives you an amazing view of the beach and castle. The bed is comfortable, the shower is fine, and the staff are friendly. The hotel is right by the beach and surrounded by bars and restaurants, with the old town only a few minutes away on foot.

A good price, a great location, and very nice staff. Breakfast being brought to the room was a lovely touch, and the staff were very compliant with the current covid situation. The walls are a bit thin and there are some stairs, though neither bothered us. Some people might want to know about those things.
