Hotel Olimpia

Easy to reach right by the Autopista, and very convenient. Good rooms and great service make this a very good hotel.

On my return journey toward Barcelona, I ate at the restaurant as well as staying at the hotel. The food was simple, quick, excellent and great value. Earlier, heading south from Barcelona, I was tired and had no reservation, so I stopped and asked for a room. The receptionist was friendly and kind, and soon I was settled in. I had a beer and a snack in the bar, and parked in their secure carpark. I left early after some coffee the next morning to continue my trip. Excellent place for a stop. Thank!!!

The room was decent, but smelled of cigarettes. I booked because the hotel is just off the highway and has a restaurant attached, which seemed convenient after a long day of driving. At the cafeteria, the man behind the counter, Oliver, was smoking and distinctly unwelcoming. When I asked for a menu, he said there wasn't one and they weren't serving food at the moment. I asked when food service started, and he said 8pm, just 10 minutes away. I offered to wait, but he said fine and added that they didn't have much to eat. I got the impression I wasn't welcome because I wasn't Spanish. I complained at the hotel, but they shrugged and said the cafeteria was a separate business. Instead of relaxing after the drive, I had to drive 10 minutes into town, find parking and walk around to find a restaurant. That completely defeated the point of booking a motorway-side hotel. It was frustrating to be made to feel unwelcome and encouraged to leave. Gracias a Oliver

I was at the hotel for lunch during a professional event. The facilities were tidy and ready to welcome people, and the waiters were very pleasant and friendly. The food was perfect, good enough to make me wonder if I could hold another personal event there. I'd recommend this place for professional events.
