We had a lovely breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace, and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The hotel is close enough to Comillas for a visit without staying in the busy center. For a 2-star place, it’s amazing value, and we’ll return next time we’re in northern Spain. Our room was large and clean, with a beautiful view over the countryside and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and clean too. There’s a fridge, not a minibar, which I always find useful. Just be aware there’s no air conditioning. We slept comfortably because the room stayed cool, but it might not have been so pleasant in temperatures in the 30s.

It’s a quiet hotel, but there’s no restaurant. For dinner you can buy frozen pizza. Breakfast was served at 8:30.

The room was airy, spacious, spotless, and had beautiful views towards the picos. There’s plenty of off-road parking and a nice terrace, plus the fridge and TV worked perfectly. It’s quiet, but you’ll need a short drive into town for shopping, supermarkets, and other meals. Checkout at 12 is sensible. It’s a 2-star hotel with breakfast included, and pets are welcome if you’re a responsible owner.

A basic hotel in a great little village. The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly, and they spoke enough English. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re passing through the area.
