The campsite was a beautiful setting, and the generous spacing between pitches meant there was room and privacy even with more vans and tents there on Saturday night. The photo was taken from the top of the row on Monday morning. Everything about the experience was what I’d hoped for. I went in July to get away from the hotter weather near the coast. The days were lovely, it cooled off by 9 pm, and I needed a jacket at night. The facilities were good, with reliably hot showers and excellent electric hookups every few pitches. I mostly cooked for myself, though I enjoyed Sunday breakfast, and my dogs were welcome and stayed quietly under the table. I booked one night in my van and ended up staying two. It was easy to find, the welcome was friendly, and there were pleasant walks for the dogs. Someone younger or stronger on hills could have taken them much farther, but we enjoyed the walks we did. The drives there and back had amazing views, though all those hairpin bends meant I had to keep my eyes on the road. I’ve given the location four stars because getting there was more challenging than I expected, and five stars would make it sound too easy.

We arrived without a reservation, but the lovely people there went out of their way to get us settled in a cabin and even brought an extra heater for the colder nights. Such a beautiful spot and a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely return. Thank you ❤️

Tommy, the campsite’s adorable mascot, and the super nice staff made the stay even better. The pitches are large, the grounds are peaceful, and the views are amazing, with the village trevelez about 2 km down the road. The pool was clean, and its slightly cold water felt good in the August heat. Bathrooms were clean too, and showers were always available. I loved this campsite. A bonus: the French owner bakes delicious baguettes fresh every day, so the bread isn’t dry like it can be in Spain.

We had a great stay on a lovely tent pitch at the start of November. The staff were really friendly and helpful!

For me it was a great experience, especially with the mountains all around. It depends on what you want, though. If high standards are what you’re after, this probably isn’t the place for you. Regards
