The receptionist didn't speak English, but the hotel was nice and clean, and parking was easy.

After many years of staying here because my cousins live in León, this is the first year I've had such a terrible experience. The room was awful when we arrived: hairballs everywhere, a dirty sink, torn curtains, and a filthy pillow. There was just one roll of toilet paper for our three days. The double bed I requested for my partner and me wasn't available. The bed ended up in the middle of the room, so the curtains kept coming open, and my partner had to sleep in their bed while I slept in mine. They also said they hadn't turned on the heating because they weren't very busy, so it would take a while to warm up. Sorting out the price was frustrating too. A very rude girl answered my call and snapped that the listed price was the price, end of story. At reception the next day, another girl quoted me a different, higher amount. When I called again, she gave me the same price as the rude girl. I'll definitely return to León, but NOT to Alfajeme!!
