Eurostars Palacio Santa Marta

We really liked the hotel and its central spot in Trujillo, but the parking situation would probably keep us from returning. The car park is behind and above the hotel, and getting to it means taking either a steep, narrow, one-way cobbled road or an open metal staircase.

You can ask for hot water, but there’s no coffee or tea set in the room, even though there’s a safe and refrigerator. The room has the amenities you'd expect from a four-star hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Its best feature is the central location, very close to the beautiful city square. The road to the hotel is quite narrow, so it takes good driving skills; a small car is a better choice.

Our room was incredible, and the breakfast staff that morning were fantastic. Service throughout was exceptional. It's within walking distance of the plaza, with private parking available, and there are lots of picturesque spots to explore on foot. This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. If you're in Trujillo and can stay here, just book it, you won't be disappointed. I hope their other hotels keep the same standards, because this one was completely worth it.

Set in a lovely old palace building in central Trujillo, the hotel was clean, well maintained, and had excellent service. Our room was large, and they provided two cots for our little ones. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, with homemade cakes, the usual breakfast choices, and good coffee.
