Albergue de Tudela - Hostel

A lovely place to unwind. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

👍🏻

An awful experience. I booked months ahead and contacted them the day before to arrange check-in, but got no reply. When I arrived, they answered the phone on the second ring, gave me an access code, and said someone would come back later. Three hours passed before the attendant showed up. He then told me there were no sheets, even though the website lists the price and says using them is mandatory, and all he could give me was a towel. I ended up "sleeping" without a fitted sheet or pillowcase. One of the two sinks didn't work either. This place seems to have potential, but it's completely neglected. In a city like Tudela, a municipal service shouldn't be in this state. If staying here isn't mandatory, don't go. It warrants a complaint.

I was walking the Ebro Way of St. James and had booked ahead, but the place was closed when I arrived at 4 p.m. The manager wasn't due until 8. I'd called the day before and got no answer. He gave me a code so I could get in and shower, but the rooms were locked and the restrooms were dirty, so I decided to find a hotel. I can't say anything about the rooms themselves.
