We hardly needed to cook, since there’s a good bar and restaurant just around the corner. Victor was a fantastic host, thanks for everything. The old farmhouse has been renovated beautifully, and the apartments have thoughtful country-style decor. The beds were comfortable, everything we needed was there, and the views are stunning. There’s a nice-sized pool on the property, though it can get a little busy.

We wished we’d booked a longer stay. Tudes is a lovely, sleepy village, and La Casa de las Chimeneas sits right in its centre, at the end of a winding road with gorgeous views. The apartment was immaculate and wonderful, reached through a beautiful courtyard. Traditional art gives it character, while it has all the modern comforts. The owners have clearly thought through what guests need for a comfortable, memorable stay. It’s also a great area for walks.

Set in the middle of a charming mountain village, the apartments feel cozy and are nicely furnished. The views are spectacular, and the place has a lovely mix of simplicity and peace.

Potes, down the mountain, has medieval architecture, good places to eat, grocery shops, and affordable prices. Up in Tudes, the little village made us feel like we’d stepped into another time, with astonishing views all around. My family and I had a magical stay at Chimeneas. Our house was cozy and comfortable for all six of us, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable mountain getaway in the area.

A lovely apartment in a tiny, quiet village, about 15 minutes from Potes. The setting is relaxing, with a nice little heated pool, and the taverna is right next door for food and drinks.
