The bedrooms are roomy and the beds are comfortable, and pets are allowed. The apartment is right on Calle Real in the heart of Úbeda, with several floors for multiple guests. What didn’t work for me was the layout: a long flight of stairs separates each bedroom, so it isn’t accessible. The bathroom locks were broken and hadn’t been replaced, and some bedroom windows wouldn’t open. We had to open the windows for fresh air because there’s no air conditioning.

This house has three floors and a terrace, so there are far too many stairs, and the rental information didn’t mention that. It was very dirty and smelled bad. The bathroom and one bedroom couldn’t be aired out because their windows wouldn’t open, and the door locks were broken. There’s no central heating, just a heat pump that wasn’t enough to warm the place. The kitchen had very little cookware, and the living room chairs were badly worn. Old windows let in cold air and street noise. With all the bars in this central area, sleeping was impossible.

The beds were comfortable, but the linens and towels felt dirty even though they’d been washed. Cleanliness and facilities really need improvement. The location is perfect, though. The property is spread across several floors: entrance on the ground floor, living room and kitchen on the first, one bedroom and bathroom on the second, two more bedrooms and another bathroom on the third, then a terrace at the top. We didn’t see the owner when arriving or leaving, and only communicated through WhatsApp.

The location is the one good thing. The house was cold and uncomfortable, with too many stairs, a bad smell and awful cleanliness. The bathrooms had no shelves or coat rack, the doors didn’t fit properly, and there wasn’t even a tablecloth. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. The owner needs to invest in painting and renovations.
