The host was warm, friendly, and happy to help whenever needed. Breakfast was a delight, with fresh orange juice, coffee, and a good continental selection. It feels like a family home, with cosy, comfortable rooms that make you feel at home away from home. Original furniture and fixtures in the rooms, dining area, and other spaces give it an authentic, traditional Spanish feel. The central location puts most of Úbeda within walking distance. A great stay and one of the highlights of our trip.

The owner José kindly let my husband use the conference room for a client meeting while we were travelling for work. We stayed in December, when it was close to 0 degrees outside, but the heating was on full blast and the rooms felt cosy and comfortable. The building is a beautiful antique, very well conserved. Breakfast was a treat, with freshly squeezed orange juice and a full range of continental choices. We'll definitely be back.

The old town was peaceful to wander around, and the views from the eastern wall were spectacular. We were there in late February 2023, during an unusually cold spell, but the warm welcome made the weather easier to forget. Our room was comfortable, the host was thoughtful, and we enjoyed the short visit. Breakfast was a highlight too, served in a lovely room with tasty traditional food.

Pepe was gracious and incredibly helpful, both with finding our way around the city and sorting out the paperwork for my daughter's job. She'd come to Ubeda in September 2016 to work as a teaching assistant for students learning English, and we stayed at the hotel for a week. We both had a very enjoyable time. The building is a beautiful example of Spanish architecture, and I believe it has been in the owner's family for more than a century. We'd love to come back for a family holiday and reconnect with Pepe.
