The service was exceptional, and breakfast was excellent too. It's a great base for all sorts of excursions, close to San Vicente de la Barquera and Comillas, beside the Sequoia National Park, and a good starting point for visiting places like the Soplao Caves.

They even got up early to make us breakfast at 6 am, since we had to leave early for the windblown race. They didn't hesitate, and made sure we left well-fed. The staff were incredibly friendly, and it's a wonderful place to relax. 100% recommended.

The room was spacious and properly equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom has been completely renovated, the wooden floors are a lovely touch, and there's a terrace with nice views. The rooms are also well-heated for chilly nights. The owners are very friendly and attentive, making sure everything is just right, and they prepare a delicious breakfast themselves. A 100% recommended inn for spending a few days in Cantabria. Just keep in mind that you'll need a car to find a wide choice of places for lunch or dinner.

At Casa Valentina, literally two minutes away, you can get a lovely slice of cake, or have a meal with tapas and sandwiches. Everything was really good and well priced. Waking up to views of the fields and cows is priceless. We spent four nights at Posada Valoria in August 23, and everything went perfectly, from the welcome and the house to the location, room, and breakfast. It all felt very warm and pleasant, nothing like the coldness of a hotel. The couple who run it are lovely, the house is large and beautiful, and our room was roomy and equipped just right. Breakfast made no grand claims, but it was perfect for us.
