Casa Rural El Escalerón

Nando was very kind. Thanks, we’ll be back. We spent Friday through Sunday here, and when we arrived at noon the house was already ready and warm, which was much appreciated since check-in is usually later. We had everything we needed for the barbecue. The house faces in a way that lets you eat out on the patio in the sun and enjoy the beautiful views, which you can also see from indoors. It’s a comfortable, clean house in a beautiful town with incredible hiking trails. I highly recommend it.

So peaceful, with spectacular views. The house is cozy, comfortable, and really well equipped. A ten out of ten.

Fernando was so kind and attentive throughout our stay. He answered all our questions and helped with whatever we asked, including suggestions for places to eat or have breakfast when we didn’t want to cook. My husband and I felt right at home. We stayed four nights and three days, but it still didn’t feel like enough. The area is incredible. We visited La Laguna, El Ventano del Diablo, La Balsa, the source of the Río Cuervo, and the Río Júcar, and enjoyed them all. We’d already seen the Enchanted City on another trip, but there are still more places we want to see. They’re truly dreamlike. We’ll definitely try to return, if all goes well. The house we stayed in was spotless and very cozy, with heating, a TV, Wi-Fi, a BBQ, microwave, toaster, and a kitchen stocked with everything you could want for cooking. There were tablecloths, comfortable beds, good-sized closets, and a modern shower enclosure and hairdryer in the bathroom.

The path to the lagoon starts right beside the house, and the surrounding area is amazing. The porch is a dream, with a barbecue and lovely views. They even supply all the firewood, chopped and ready for the barbecue or fireplace. The houses are wonderful and have everything you need for a really comfortable stay. Ten out of ten for the accommodation, the setting, and the owner’s friendliness. We’ll be back.
