Caserón El Remedio I

Uncastillo is such a beautiful village, with a setting that’s hard to beat. We had a relaxing weekend and received lovely service from the moment we booked. The rooms were comfortable and had all the little luxuries. We’d happily return.

We had a beautiful, comfortable room, and it was spotless. Breakfast was very complete, and the owners gave excellent service. Such a charming country house. Highly recommended.

Uncastillo is stunning, one of the best places in Aragon, maybe even Spain. There’s loads to see nearby too, including Sos del Rey Católico, Los Bañales, Pozo Pigalo, and Peñas de Santo Domingo. We came with a "La Vida es Bella" voucher and were treated very well. The guesthouse is quiet, close to everything, and the owner is very friendly. Our room overlooked the castle, and there’s private parking, which is a real help in a town where parking is difficult. The free Wi-Fi was switched off at night, possibly because of the storm. You can hear the bathrooms in neighboring rooms, but that’s rural guesthouse life. All rooms have air conditioning, which is a real luxury in summer and uncommon in rural guesthouses. Don’t hesitate, it’s somewhere to visit at least once in your life.

The owners are very, very friendly, and it’s a lovely place. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is that the soundproofing isn’t great, so you can hear the other guests quite a lot.
