Hostal Escuils

Maria really made the stay for me. She was such a sweetheart, gave us all the regional advice we needed and paid lovely attention to the little details in the room. The rooms were incredibly clean, easily 11/10. It’s also a convenient spot, just a short drive from skiing, with great food options nearby. I had a great experience here.

The village is peaceful and picturesque, and getting to the Baqueira Beret lifts takes about 10 minutes by car. There’s a large parking area right in front, so finding a spot was never an issue. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were a lovely way to start each day. Maria made us feel cared for from the moment we arrived. She left chocolates and flowers in our room for Valentine’s Day and even brought ice packs for my injured knees. That kindness made the stay especially memorable. We’d happily recommend Hostal Escuils and hope to return to Baqueira.

The owner was so friendly and helpful, which made our stay even nicer. We loved the delicious breakfast, too. It’s in a lovely little village, about a 10-minute drive from the ski lift. Everything was great, and we’ll definitely come back.

We planned on staying for two nights and ended up staying five. Maria, the owner, was incredibly helpful and knew the area better than the tourist information places we visited. She gave us lots of hiking options, sights to see in Val D'aran and places to visit. We also had dinner in the pleasant garden. The room was quiet and spotless, with a nice design, lovely bedding and a big, comfortable bed. There was a kettle with tea and coffee, too.
