After a day on the motorbike, we appreciated how peaceful it was here. The host gave us a very warm welcome, and our room was roomy and clean, with properly hot water in the shower. We had a lovely conversation with the owners, who shared some of the place's history, then ate a delicious dinner at the restaurant across the street, which they run along with the hostel. The food, wine, and local pacharán were all very good. I'd happily come back. One small suggestion: another electricity switch or two in each room would help, since there was only one.

The rooms are on the small side, but they're good value. I especially liked the service, and breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were excellent. A good burger was just right at the end of the day. Best wishes.

The location is spectacular, and the owner's suggestion made the trip even better. She talked us through the Roncal Valley and proposed a different route from the one we'd planned; we loved following it and will definitely return. The rooms were just what you'd expect from a hostel, and perfectly fine.

We found a bed here after failing to find accommodation in Ochagavía while doing the Irati Xtrem. The hostel is right in the center of Urzainqui, in the Roncal region. It's not luxurious, but the basics are covered: our exterior room had a bunk bed, bathrooms and dining space are shared, and there is somewhere to store and lock up bicycles. Gema and Iratxe were especially kind and helpful. Breakfast was great, and they served it when we asked so we could make it to the Irati Xtrem on time, haha. Dinner was delicious too. The service gets a 10/10 from me.
