Nieves and Manuel made a long, tiring day on the Camino del Norte end on a lovely note. Our group arrived exhausted, and they booked us a dinner table and even drove us there. The hotel is full of charm, with lovely decor and a log fire. Breakfast was homemade and just right before another day of walking. I can’t recommend it enough.

We had a delicious breakfast cooked by Nieves and Manuel, and Manuel kindly drove us to our dinner reservation. Their hospitality made this charming, comfortable hotel a must stay on the Camino Del Norte. The rooms were beautifully appointed, with great showers, and downstairs there’s a place to unwind by an open fire. It’s in a stunning location.

Our whole group felt warmly welcomed at the Posada, and we all had a lovely stay. It has loads of character and is a charming place to stop, whether you’re walking the Camino or visiting the region.

The hosts were delightful and helpful, and we enjoyed chatting with them. We also had a delicious, generous dinner. Our bedroom was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was too. Fuente de las Anjanas is beautiful inside and out, right on the Camino del Norte way. The garden is gorgeous and clearly well cared for, and there’s plenty of space inside with lovely decor.

Halfway between Hortigal and Serdio on the Camino del norte stage 3, we found a place that felt just like home. The lovely couple running it made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was great, and came with a big pot of coffee. Muchas gracias, Jo & John from Ireland x
