Privacy matters, and we weren't told beforehand that the owner also stays in the house with other people we didn't know. He was kind to us, but could appear at any time. The house has plenty of rooms and bathrooms and is very large, yet it's quite neglected and doesn't look like the website photos. The patio was unusable, with junk everywhere.

It's a big, welcoming house, but it feels outdated and quite neglected. What you find there is pretty different from what the online pictures show.

We came by bike, and Jose Maria even offered to drive us down to town. The rooms are roomy, the beds really comfortable, and the bathroom practical. It's a beautiful house with lovely decor, and we were welcomed like old family friends. If you want peace and quiet, this is a great place to stay.

The beds were fantastic, everything was spotless, and we slept like royalty. Breakfast was exceptional too, all freshly made and served with such care, including freshly milked milk and cream. Chemo and Edu were warm, kind, professional, and always attentive to what we needed. Their home is a dream, and you can see the dedication and hard work behind it. It's a fully renovated historic Castilian manor house that makes you feel like you've stepped into another era, while still feeling right at home. We'd definitely come back as soon as we can.
