We came away feeling completely recharged after two nights at Molino Tejada, a magical spot in nature, partly on an island in the Ebro river. The old mill has been restored beautifully. Our room was stylish, and the cozy lounge has river views through a glass floor, plus there's even a private cinema. There are quiet corners throughout the lovely garden, and the small pool is just right for a dip. The atmosphere is peaceful and artistic, and Tatiana greeted us with so much charm and good energy. We loved the fresh wood-fired pizza in the evening and the generous homemade breakfast. Don't miss the tomato compote! Polientes nearby is a small, friendly village with a few good restaurants, a grocery store and a family-run winery. Locals gather for relaxed, authentic BBQs by the river. There are scenic hikes and charming villages to explore, as well as a small petroleum museum nearby. Highly recommended if you're after peace, nature and something different.

Our stay was short, but this inn and our host Tatiana ended up being a highlight of the trip. The people were great, the setting beautiful, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the food and drink were good too. I can't recommend it highly enough.

This lovely spot is in Polientes, close to the Ebro river. It's an old windmill converted into a rural house, and it has kept its historic character. You can stop for a drink or a meal, or stay the night. There are lots of places to visit nearby.
