Apartamentos Edificio Palomar

I’d had a bad time in Valencia generally, but the last few days at this hotel turned the whole trip around. The apartment was lovely, clean, cozy, and beautiful, with a good location, good price, and good service.

We stayed nine days and, for the price, it was the best. The apartment was lovely and cozy, the service was amazing, and we really enjoyed the rooftop terrace. We were short on dishes, especially bowls, and there weren’t many pans either. Even so, we had a great stay and loved Valencia 🤘

Carmen greeted us when we arrived and made us feel really special. She was very helpful, speaks English, and is a super woman for the job. The apartment was beautifully decorated all in white and had every modern convenience we needed, even a dishwasher. It’s close to all the bars and restaurants, and the old town has a really nice feel. We’d stay again when we’re in Valencia. A lovely holiday break, with great weather in November.

We called at 8 a.m. to report what was happening upstairs, but nobody called back or did anything. They refused to move us, even though several apartments seemed to be free. At 3 p.m. we called the staff again because the people upstairs were still making noise and using drugs. We hadn’t slept all night, and eventually went up to confront the neighbors ourselves. We were there with our three-year-old, and we travel a lot, but we’ve never experienced such poor service, attitude, or communication. People in apartment 0B were crashing furniture all night and using drugs, and the apartment contact did nothing to resolve it. This stay spoiled our whole impression of Valencia. The attitude and standard were beyond acceptable. We have written proof that we’re owed a refund, but two months have passed and the owner, Ms. Carmen, has ignored us. I strongly don’t recommend it. It was hell.
