The capsules look awesome, and I liked how they’re set up. Inside, buttons let you change the light to different colors. You get a locker for your things, and a card opens everything, including the capsule. The location is awesome too. I only stayed one night, after deciding to ignore the bad reviews, and found a gem in this part of Valencia. One thing for them to check: the light in the second toilet wasn't working. Also, towels and slippers aren't provided. If you need one, you have to buy it from the machine inside, a towel costs 3€.

Mje... okay, starting with the good: the idea is cool, the pods lock, you can secure your stuff separately, and it's cheap. But it's not well done. You hear everything through the thin, cheap plastic, from snores to farts. The beds are hard and uneven, and the double bed is about 120-140cm. The three fans in the pod are loud, but you have to keep them running all night or there's no air. I imagine summer is even worse. Everything feels very cheap, and everything is tiny. The showers don't let you set the water temperature, so the next shower can be super hot or cold. People don't keep quiet, and some don't even flush the toilet. The hostel takes no responsibility if something is stolen. Cleaning leaves a strong chemical smell, and towels and flip-flops cost extra. It's not very central, and the area isn't especially nice. If you really have to stay here, do one night max. We stayed longer, and it just wasn't worth it.

The pod walls are thin plastic, so you hear everything. Guests weren't quiet; the night we arrived, someone played music and talked at a normal volume in their pod, and it carried across the dorm. Bring something to block out the noise. There's no air conditioning in the rooms, just a computer fan inside each pod that didn't cool it even in the cooler months. Sharing a pod with two people also leaves less space. There aren't separate two-person pods, you share one meant for a single person for a small discount. Each pod has only one key, too, so if you need the toilet while your bunkmate is asleep, their pod loses electricity. The place wasn't clean, and things felt worn down. Some lockers wouldn't open or lock, and overall they seemed very DIY and easy to break into if someone wanted to, especially with no reception around. There's nobody at reception when guests come back drunk and rowdy. Once, someone was sleeping on chairs in the common area, either too drunk to get into their pod or having entered the hotel when someone else did. The showers and toilets aren't fancy, but at least they worked most of the time. The other people weren't horrible. It just felt like average hostel behavior in a poorly designed, maximize-profit place with a sci-fi gimmick. Now I know what capsule hotels are, and I'm glad I got the experience, but I wouldn't recommend this unless you're on a tight budget.

I couldn't sleep here. The concept is great, but at night the pods made plastic noises and got steamy, so it was hard to find any peace. A regular hostel seems like it might be quieter. I'd only return to this kind of place if it were in Japan or of higher quality. You could call €40 cheap, but there are cheaper hostels with better sleeping conditions. Again, I loved the concept, but the rooms need improvement and it was very noisy at night.

The staff were very kind and friendly, and the location is great, about a 15-minute walk from the center. The rooms were clean, the beds comfy, and the capsules were bigger than I expected, or maybe I was just worried they'd be smaller, haha. My only issue is the kitchen setup. If you can call it a kitchen, there's just two microwaves and a fridge, no oven, cooktop, or pan. The rooms aren't soundproof, but people were respectful enough that it didn't bother us much. Other than that, we loved it!
