The apartment was badly maintained and dirty, and I wouldn’t recommend it or come back. We arrived to find it unbearably hot, with sun pouring through the big window all day. The blind was broken, the air conditioning didn’t work, and one of the two fans was broken too. We told the landlord, but he offered no fix. There were photos attached showing the dirt and poor upkeep. The bedroom outlets didn’t work, the toilet kept leaking, and no cleaning supplies were provided. When we moved the living room table to eat, it nearly tipped over because it was so old. The sofa bed was awful, just a mattress about 10 cm off the floor on a wooden board. The elevators in the shared areas were tiny, only enough room for two people with our suitcase, and they shook a lot.

Valencia’s heart is a great place to stay, and I’d highly recommend it. The apartment itself was amazing, 7.5/7.5!!! A few things were missing or didn’t work: the shower head wouldn’t stay up, the hood was broken, and the air conditioning fan leaked a little. There weren’t even basic supplies for two or three days, like coffee pods, salt, or oil. Luckily, the guys in the apartment across the street tossed us little bits of food once a day, typical salami and raw tacos.

The master bedroom and bathroom were quite fine, but I wouldn’t recommend this apartment until they sort out the problems. It smelled strongly of tobacco when I arrived, the living room table was so worn out it was barely usable, and some floorboards in the living room slid around.

Getting to the elevator was a bit awkward with our baby stroller, since there are steps before you reach it, even though the apartment does have an elevator.
