We were really disappointed. There was rust all around the apartment, it looked nothing like the pictures, and the towels we were given were dirty. The place seemed very poorly maintained. I messaged the property right away, but it took an hour to hear back. They offered another apartment, and we accepted, even though it wasn't in our preferred location. It was clean and had clean towels, but it was in an attic with tiny windows, and getting up to the bedroom was difficult. We lost a lot of time waiting, contacting Booking.com, and moving to a place 15 minutes' walk from the original. We chose it because we didn't want to waste more time or struggle to find new accommodation. The whole thing caused us a lot of distress, and I expected more from the property.

We had dinner at these friends' place in the beer garden. The window looked out over the rooftop terrace, and the kitchen was a bit on its own. It was a perfectly ordinary little thing, nothing more.

The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is just right. The location is pretty good too, next to the old town's main attractions, and the price felt fair. It works well for a couple of days. Only two things bothered us: the curtains let in the sun when it comes up, and the kitchen is very small, with sliding doors whose purpose we couldn't quite figure out. Otherwise, it was all quite correct.

You can get to the old city center in five minutes, and there’s a pedestrian zone nearby. Cross the Ponta Fusta bridge to reach the tram stop, where tram 4 goes to the beach. The apartment is in the best possible spot in the city and has everything needed for a longer stay, including a washing machine and even a bidet. Highly recommend.

Being so close to the old town was a real plus. The curtains were meant to block out light, but they'd come unhooked. There were no shutters, so passing traffic made quite a bit of noise, and the bed foot was wobbly.
