Hulot B&B Valencia

A great budget option in Valencia. The location is perfect, close to Colon station, and the hotel has a lift as well as stairs. There's also a top-floor terrace with a shared kitchen where you can make tea and coffee. Our room was large, with a balcony and generous bathroom. We expected one of the older rooms shown in the pictures, with red bedding, but got a very new, modern room instead. Hulot's lovely receptionists and staff made us feel welcome. The only reason for four stars is the ongoing building work, which is understandable. Thanks so much!

Good access to the city center on foot, though you need to be okay with a bit of walking. The rooms are a nice size and the bathrooms are beautiful. A great hotel and a comfortable base for visiting the city.

We only stayed one night, and our room was ready when we arrived at 13:30. It was lovely, clean, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a bathroom just as roomy and clean as you'd expect in a hotel. We peeked into the communal area but didn't use it; it was spotless and had an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, utensils, washing machine, and dryer. A special shout-out to Mary (Maria on reception), who was very helpful, friendly, and efficient. We'll definitely be back.

The receptionist was lovely, friendly, and helpful, and we'd definitely stay here again. It's an easy trip into the city center, while the location itself is away from the noise and bustle. The rooms were clean and comfortable, a reasonable size, and seemed to have been renovated fairly recently.
