Bertrand made our two-night stay at La Novieta especially lovely. He was gracious and easy to communicate with, and room #3 was spotless and comfortable. The hotel is tastefully decorated, with earth-toned pastels and striking artwork chosen by Bertrand that suit the distinctive details of the 100+ year old building. We’d happily recommend this charming place to friends and family visiting Valencia, and hope to return ourselves.

We were the only guests during our six nights at La Novieta over Christmas 2025, which made it feel like a privilege to enjoy this beautiful boutique hotel. It’s been renovated with care, bringing period and modern fittings together. Bertrand was a welcoming host, and his suggestions for restaurants and museums were excellent. He also made delicious breakfasts each morning. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. We’d certainly stay here again when we come back to Valencia.

La Novieta was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, and we especially enjoyed the homemade breakfast. Bertrand was kind, accommodating, and lovely to talk with. I’d highly recommend staying here, and we’ll come back on our next trip to Valencia.

The hotel’s location made it easy to explore Valencia. There are excellent restaurants and bars nearby, away from the main tourist traps, while the city is still easy to reach. La Novieta is a small boutique hotel, renovated with a lot of care. The rooms feel full of character, with each piece chosen or restored individually, and they’re practical too, with outlets and lighting right where you need them. Bertrand clearly cares about his guests, and breakfast is lovingly prepared each morning. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic stay in central Valencia who enjoys design.
