Maison Reina B&B

For the price, this was decent, and the place had loads of space in a really good location. Our group of 12 could walk to the beach, restaurants, and clubs. There were six bedrooms and six bathrooms, plus a kitchen, living room, and rooftop terrace. But communication with the owner was horrible. We couldn’t check in before 5pm or leave our luggage after checkout. Although they knew a group of 12 was coming, nobody had told the cleaning lady, and luckily she was still there to let us in. She was incredibly helpful and used Google Maps to explain things the host should have handled. The AC upstairs barely worked, and that room felt like 50°C. The elevator wasn’t working, or at least couldn’t carry people, and there weren’t enough shower towels, just small ones for faces. There’s plenty to improve.

The setup was amazing, with an iron, water, beach towels, a little basket, and even an umbrella for rain. I’ve never found that much provided elsewhere. Breakfast had very little choice, though, so one star for that. The place itself was cozy and nice, but my room felt small, and its window looked onto another building, so there wasn’t much natural light.

The rooms were clean and the AC worked great. It’s near the beach, and getting a taxi to the city center was easy. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Amazing place, highly recommend!
