Micampus Galileo Galilei

The state of the room was awful, and the response to our complaint made the stay even worse. There was a strong bad smell in the reception area and all along the corridor. Our sink was already clogged when we arrived, full of yellow water and hair from previous guests. The shower looked like it was about to collapse, so using it was impossible. The linens were stained yellow, filthy, and smelled bad too. When we raised this with reception, the person was rude and said we should have reported it the previous night, otherwise we had accepted the problems. We arrived at midnight, and the hostel was fully booked on Booking.com. They refused to refund us because we hadn't complained the night before. Who cleaned that room and thought it was acceptable? I strongly recommend finding somewhere else to sleep, even your car.

The rooms were dirty. After the holiday, I found lots of bite marks, and my friends had bedbug bites all over their bodies too.

The location is pretty convenient, within walking distance of some nice cafes, but the place itself is disgusting. I saw cleaning staff in the halls, yet there was still pubic hair on my toilet seat. The food has less flavor than a famished medieval slave's palette, and the blanket they gave me is a thin scrap of fabric, thinner than paper. The room I'm in now is revolting, nasty, appalling, loathsome, nauseating, repulsive, sickening, foul, yucky, and honestly hideous.

The room is reasonably OK, but there's no fridge or kettle, even in the kitchen area. The administrator suggested boiling water in the microwave. The city center is quite far away, and evenings can be noisy because the cafeteria is right below the window. Sound from neighboring rooms carries easily too. I arrived on Saturday and didn't see the cleaning lady until Thursday. Around 540 euros for seven nights felt rather expensive.
