NWT Central Station Apartments

The apartments are nice, but a few things need maintenance.

The cockroaches are what made this stay unacceptable to me. The apartment itself was very bare-bones, and the layout was strange: you had to walk through one room to reach the one at the back. The bathroom was basic too, with a shower that splashed water everywhere and a door that wouldn't shut properly. It had just enough to get by in the city.

This was easily the worst place I've ever stayed. We found cockroaches throughout the apartment, and when we called, they said the bugs weren't theirs. Seriously? We asked for a refund because we didn't want to stay, but they refused, so we had to buy sprays and traps just to manage. We slept with the lights on and ended up setting fire to the bathroom and kitchen sinks. There were rats crawling over the pans in the kitchen. Absolutely disgusting. I've travelled a lot, and this was the worst. The service was miserable, a zero. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here. They ignore customers and hold a €300 deposit on top of the apartment cost.

The flat was clean and looked just like the photos. We did have a mix-up with the crib we requested in the reservation: it wasn't there when we arrived, though they brought it quickly on the second day. The woman handing over the keys gave us very little information, including nothing about checkout or where to leave the keys, so the service felt poor. A very kind man on the phone was helpful, though. The stay was very good overall, and I'd recommend it.
