Hotel RH Sorolla Centro By Hoteles RH

I stayed on my own in July 2025 for a Spanish course at UCV, and this was my first time ever staying alone in a hotel abroad. From arrival to checkout, the welcome, homey feel, service, cleanliness, and breakfasts were all wonderful. Reception, housekeeping, and the breakfast team made me feel looked after. The staff asked every day how my course was going, shared city tips, and taught me phrases in Spanish and Catalán. I hugged some of them when I left. Thank you for helping me feel less alone. It was an especially hot week, but my room stayed cool and the air conditioning worked so well that I turned it off at night. The room was spotless every day, the bathroom was magnificent, the towels were changed daily, and the housekeeper was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well each night. The shower shampoo and hair creams were organic and worked perfectly for my hair. The minibar had cold drinks, though free cold water was also available around the clock, with a lovely jug to fill. I kept fresh fruit, manchego, jambon, and Basque cheesecakes from my stay in the minibar to keep them cool. My room was tiny and didn’t have a balcony, so I would have preferred a room for two and missed a few nights of fireworks. Still, I really have nothing to complain about. I’ve stayed in four- and five-star hotels in different countries all my life, and RH Sorolla Centro gave me a five-star experience. Breakfast was filling, with sweet and savory choices. The chocolate croissants were particularly good, and I’m from Paris, so I mean it. There was fresh fruit, watermelon, juicy oranges, freshly squeezed juices, tortillas, and different hams and cheeses. I’d definitely suggest taking the breakfast option. The hotel’s very central, right by the Ayuntamiento and the Xativa metro exit, with a bus stop just around the corner. I could get to the university easily on foot or by bus, and walked to mercado central and Plaza de la Reina. If you’re up for it, you can even walk to the gates or Turia. Valencia’s great to explore on foot. One metro line gets you straight from the airport in about 20 minutes. There are lots of well-rated, authentic, non-touristy restaurants nearby, including bodegas, taquerias, and cevicherias, plus shops, ATMs, and cinemas. A direct bus nearby also makes the beach easy to reach. The streets were crowded, but my room stayed calm and quiet. It was a dream week, and I know where I’ll stay when I return to beautiful Valencia. Greetings from Paris!

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and there’s a locker where you can leave luggage after checkout. We had a clean, spacious room with a lovely balcony for coffee or drinks, plus useful amenities: a minibar, Nespresso machine, refillable water bottle, and bathroom essentials. Estacio del Nord, Central Market, and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. A wonderful place to stay in beautiful Valencia.

The staff have been lovely and helpful, and the location puts bars, restaurants, and pretty much everything else close by. Nice breakfast too. A great little hotel, would definitely recommend.

Valencia completely won me over. Golden sunsets and lovely streets made the city feel magical, and the hotel added to the memories. The rooms were beautiful and cozy, the location was perfect, and the service felt like home. Martina deserves a special mention for her warmth, kindness, and energy. She lit up every space she walked into. Some people just know how to make guests feel welcome, and she’s one of them.
