Vincci Lys Hotel

Breakfast was delicious, and the manager and staff did a lot to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. The room was spotless, well stocked, and finished with impressive fixtures and fittings. We slept very well in the spacious, extremely comfortable bed. The Vincci Lys is well located and very well managed. From arrival, the reception team were attentive and professional, helped with our travel arrangements, and made sure our needs were met. We're grateful for the hospitality and would highly recommend the hotel.

We had a really pleasant stay. The room was comfortable and clean, everything was well organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's in an excellent location, too. We'd definitely come back and recommend it.

After our first visit, the second and third stays were a disaster, so I'm changing this to one star. Starting at 8am, the cleaning staff banged vacuums and brooms against the walls and made a lot of noise. They also quoted us a higher room rate than booking.com, even though we're repeat customers. When we contacted them directly for the second stay, the employee gave us a price higher than both Booking's rate and the hotel's own price that day, with excuses about prices changing. They never sent confirmation emails, even after we called three times. Parking was another mess. It's not theirs, but they have an arrangement and were entirely unhelpful about it. They also didn't replace the water bottles when cleaning. At the prices they charge, I'd expect that at a four-star or higher hotel. We raised all this with the manager, who just stood there baffled. The location is alright, but there are plenty of nearby hotels. We're never coming back, and after four stays, I'll steer people away from this business. Good luck.

The rooms feel old fashioned, and ours looked onto a blank courtyard wall with a noisy exhaust. It's an older hotel with great photos, but there are better options for the price. I don't understand all the glowing reviews.
