I went in to have a dressing changed on my burned hand and ended up waiting nearly two hours. The nurse was drinking coffee and chatting with a girl who came in without queuing, while nothing was getting done. The slowest service ever. If it’s not a matter of life and death, choose another hospital or clinic!

If you get sick and have international insurance, apparently you have to pay upfront, and the fees are high, then claim it back. I’ve been waiting a week and counting for them to issue an invoice, which is holding up reimbursement.

Today, the diagnostic reception service was awful. My husband went to collect his MRI results, but the person he needed wasn’t there, so he waited 15 minutes, even though I’d notified her that morning. I went to collect them instead, but the receptionist hadn’t told her that someone else needed authorization, so she wouldn’t release the results using my husband’s ID. Now he has to go himself tomorrow, for the third time. What an unforgivable waste of time.

The hospital is generally good, but Radiology needs a lot of work, in my opinion. From my experience, getting admitted as a patient involves long waits. The radiology assistants don’t explain things very well. Staff are friendly, but I don’t find their manner professional, which doesn’t inspire confidence in a healthcare setting.
