The hotel was a bit of a walk to reach on my first trip to Valladolid. Bus #1 gets you there quickly. I had a really nice stay during my time in Valladolid.

We stayed four days, though this seems better suited to an overnight visit. The price was great, the staff helpful, and the location worked well for us. Our larger room still felt cramped, and I'd hate to see the small one. It's a designer-style place where looks seem to come before function: the chairs looked nice but weren't comfortable, so I had to ask for a proper desk chair.

We picked this hotel for the price and photos as a stop between Porto and San Sébastien, and it turned out to be a great choice. The service was great, the food was tasty, and the room was very comfortable.

The restaurant staff were nice, and the other parts of the hotel were fine. But I had a bad experience with a couple of the afternoon reception staff. A woman was on duty when I asked a question, and she gave me a bad look and ignored me. I've never had that happen at a hotel before. It felt like microaggression, and I don't know how someone with such poor social skills and an arrogant manner is considered suitable for dealing with a diverse public. The male receptionist was also snotty and offhand. Maybe they only act this way with certain clients who are foreigners. I read other reviews that seemed to suggest that might be the case. That's just how it felt to me.

There's ample parking, and the hotel is right by a shopping mall with plenty of restaurants nearby. It's very well connected.
