The owners, Arnoud and Desiree, were such friendly, attentive hosts. We had plenty of room, including a cot for our baby, and enjoyed the pool and our first game of RANA. The meals were a great deal, too. Breakfast and dinner at La Casa Sonrisa felt like the right choice, with service and value we don't think we'd have found in the nearby pueblos.

We were eight people, and I think we all felt the same: absolutely excellent, thank you, Arnoud and Desiree. The place is small and intimate, with all the cooking done at home. It's the nicest rural guesthouse I've stayed in, and the owners do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

The hosts were super friendly, the room was really nice, and the food was excellent. It's a peaceful place where you can relax and feel safe and happy. I'd come here for that quiet setting.

There's plenty to do here, from hiking or biking to visiting the lovely little towns, and you can unwind by the pool too. It's a beautiful spot in nature, well away from the daily rush. When you get back from a day out, the owners look after you.
