Casa Clary - Finca Medina

We stayed in the first-floor apartment at Casa Clary, and it was spacious and felt like home, with a comfortable bed and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a balcony with lovely views of the sea and sunset. The thoughtful extras included toiletries, lots of towels and beach towels, a parasol, reliable Wi-Fi, a television, and air conditioning in the bedroom. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and local pastries, which we really appreciated. Clary was a delightful host and kept checking that everything was just right. The location works well for enjoying Alojera: the village bar is about a five-minute walk away, and the beach is a few minutes farther. It’s rocky, but has steps for swimming and a restaurant nearby. Highly recommended for the comforts and service.

Clary and Manuel were wonderful, and the service was excellent. They welcomed us with a basket of fruit from their orchard. Manuel tends it with such care that you can taste it in the fruit. Every detail in the house has been thoughtfully considered. We’d definitely come back. 100% recommended. Thank you, Clary and Manuel.

After seven weeks as guests of Clary and Manuel, we were sorry to leave. Manuel and Clary provide so much, including fruit, vegetables, herbs, and more, and helped make the stay feel comfortable and happy throughout. It’s a quiet life close to nature, with hiking trails starting right outside in almost every direction and views of all three neighboring islands. There’s a public bus for anyone without a car, and even when shopping, people take the time to help pack your groceries. The house has everything: a kitchen with appliances like a microwave, grill, oven, toaster, and stove, plus all the utensils you need. The beds are great and the shower is good. From the balcony there’s a lovely view, and the huge terrace has a perfect panorama of the mountain, the sea, and La Palma. We can only rave about our 50 nights there. A big thank you to Clary and Manuel for being such good hosts!

The hosts are very friendly, and everything is carefully looked after and tastefully decorated. This was my second stay in these apartments. We were welcomed with fruit and other thoughtful touches, and Clary was kind and helpful. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you.
