Lanzaroco, tu casa en La Vera

The owners were kind and helpful throughout, and Puri worked hard to keep everything in perfect order. I’ve just left and already want to return! I spent a month and a half in Lanzarote for work, and it was an incredible experience. The house has everything you could need, from kitchenware and dishes to a hairdryer, and I didn’t miss a thing during my stay. The large beds have very comfortable mattresses. You can tell the owners built and decorated it for guests to enjoy as much as they do. I loved showering with views of La Vera and having breakfast on the wonderful patio. Valverde is beautiful, with bars and a few shops despite being small, plus a municipal swimming pool about a 10-minute walk away. There’s parking quite close. Lanzarote is a great base for exploring the La Vera area, but give yourself enough time to enjoy the house as well.

The patio was just right for breakfast or getting some work done, and the terrace was a lovely spot for sunset, almost like a movie scene. The house is spacious and welcoming, tastefully decorated, and set in spectacular Valverde de La Vera, perhaps Spain’s prettiest village? The owners were incredibly kind and efficient. This is the best rural house I’ve stayed in. I’d give it seven stars if I could.

The best part of our wonderful family week was Joël and Bart, our hosts. They were so kind and thoughtful, and their exquisite taste shows in every corner of the house. Thank you both, and thanks to Puri too. A huge hug for keeping Lanzarote spotless and looking after us so well. We can’t wait to come back next year. The online photos make the house look divine, but it’s even better in person. Its four bedrooms each have a bathroom, so every couple had plenty of privacy. We spent each day sharing meals and conversations in the kitchen-dining room, living room, and garden, surrounded by beautiful things. The beds, sheets, and towels felt like pure luxury.

We had a wonderful family stay. The house is lovely and has everything needed to enjoy the time there. The owners were so attentive, thank you. We’re already planning our next getaway!
