The pet rules feel abusive, and the surcharge is exorbitant. No one should book this place. It's right by the main road, with cars passing constantly, something that's easy to verify on Google Maps. I reserved the rural house for New Year's Eve through Booking.com last November. They charged 50% upfront, then sent me the pet policy after I paid. If I had seen those conditions in the listing, I wouldn't have booked there under any circumstances. With rules like that, they should have said pets weren't allowed. I complained to Booking.com, and they confirmed I only learned about the conditions after booking. The property owner still refuses to refund the 50%. Booking.com said they couldn't do anything else, so I've filed a complaint with the consumer protection agency. In response to the accommodation's comment, I have all the screenshots to prove what I said. The OCU, the Spanish Consumer Organization, tried to mediate with Booking.com, not with the accommodation. They NEVER got a response from either Booking.com or the accommodation. That's why a complaint has already been filed with the Consumer Protection Agency.
