Lorena made us feel at home from the start. She welcomed us warmly, showed us around the house and parts of the property, and suggested some incredible island spots, including hidden places only locals seem to know. She was kind, hospitable, and attentive throughout. The house has everything you need. We spent a fantastic few days in the mountains, surrounded by nature and away from the crowds. It was exactly the peaceful break and chance to disconnect we wanted. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to others.

Casa del Monte is in a peaceful natural setting, and it’s also close to everything. The house was clean and well equipped. The owner was helpful and attentive, and even left me eggs, potatoes, and fruit, such a thoughtful touch. I had an excellent stay and highly recommend it.

A cave on the property gives the stay a little mystery and adventure. There’s also a lovely terrace with fruit trees and flowers, plus a fireplace and barbecue at this charming country house. A magical spot on El Hierro to switch off and enjoy nature. I can’t wait to come back. Napi & Julia

We had a wonderful stay from December 26, 2023 to January 2, 2024. Lorena treated us so well, and the sheep were lovely too. My daughter was thrilled to be surrounded by animals. We loved El Hierro, thank you so much!

At night, when the sky is clear, you can see the stars beautifully because there’s no light pollution. The setting is very quiet, with mountain and sea views. There’s Wi-Fi, though no cell service in the area. Lorena was attentive and ready to help. When we ran into a problem at a really inconvenient time, she did everything she could to sort it out, and we were very grateful. A great place if you’re looking for peace and quiet, highly recommended.
