It was a cold night, and the only heating provided was portable electric heaters. This is a simple, clean, rustic place run by a family. There’s a kitchen for cooking your own food, if you still have the energy after a day of walking. The owner is very friendly and tries to help with whatever you need.

Joaquin was an incredibly welcoming, attentive and friendly host. Casa Pandelo is full of charm and has everything you need. A real Camino gem, don’t miss it!

We found the owners very friendly and easy to deal with. The house is fully equipped, and its open garden is lovely and peaceful. An idyllic spot if you want to get away from it all.

The street is in rough shape and was a little hard to find, even though the location itself is very good. Once there, we found a spotless little house with every comfort, in a beautiful, quiet setting. It felt almost like being at home, and it was our best stop on the Camino. The people running it are incredibly polite and friendly. Emilia is a delight.

We only spent one night here, on October 7, 2017, while heading to Santiago and then back to collect our car. Joaquin kindly kept it in his garage and even picked us up in Piedrafita. His website gives the impression it would be a good place for one night or a thousand, but what really stayed with us was Joaquin himself. He’s so friendly and kind, and makes everything easier. A real pleasure, and we’ll be back. We recommend him 100%. A million thanks! Go Galicia! 🔥 Never Again
