Hotel Cortijo de Salia

Rain every day we were there, just bad luck, but this lovely hotel made the stay feel special anyway. The three sisters were such wonderful women. They welcomed us with smiles and looked after us so well. Breakfast was delicious, the wine was lovely, the bed was really comfortable, and we got great recommendations. The views, nearby restaurants, and walks were all great too. We absolutely loved the place.

Room 10 had a roomy, comfortable patio and lovely views, and both the room and bathroom were nicely equipped. It’s a good spot to relax or head out on excursions. The three sisters work together to make everything easy and enjoyable. They cook dinner each day, and you choose from the menu by noon. We didn’t even need to check it before deciding to join. They accommodate dietary needs, including gluten in my case, though anyone with celiac disease should still stay vigilant. And really, Houdini the cat is the one who owns the place. You’ll love him, and he’ll love you back.

We stayed with our six-month-old baby and had a lovely time. The hosts were so friendly and did everything they could to make us comfortable. They even made plenty of fruit compote for our little girl without us having to ask. The rooms were clean, the pool and its surrounding area were well maintained, and the valley and mountain views were beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were very good too. A wonderful place to stay in Andalucía, and we highly recommend it.

We’ve just returned from our fourth visit, this time spending 10 wonderful days at this beautiful country hotel. The welcome and atmosphere were lovely again, and the big room, garden, views, food, and wine were all excellent. The pool felt a bit cold to me this time, but there’s plenty to see and do. I hope to come back again in 2024.
