The location was good, and the people there were nice, but the bed smelled as if someone had been sleeping in it for a month. We’d paid for breakfast in advance and there wasn’t any. We were made to leave at 7:45 in the morning. Not a great stay.

It was quiet, and the internet worked well. The staff were really friendly, though the rooms got very warm and could use fans. There aren’t many places to eat or stay in Ventosa.

The courtyard out back was a lovely spot, and lots of the pilgrims staying there seemed to enjoy it. You can get a couple of beers or soft drinks from the vending machines, too. The host was helpful, the beds were comfortable, and the place was beautifully decorated.

The garden felt like a little sanctuary, and we had a lovely stay. I wouldn’t choose the food, though. It was ready-made paella without anything alongside it, not even bread. Otherwise, it was good.

The whole place had a really relaxing feel, and the garden was like an oasis. This is the best Albergue I’ve stayed in so far. They had wifi, a kitchen and laundry, plus a little shop with basic food.
