Hotel Palacio de Fiame

My son and I loved it and will definitely come back. The breakfast was delicious, and the couple running the accommodation made us feel right at home. They’re so lovely and attentive. It’s in a fantastic spot, close to magnificent beaches and surrounded by meadows.

We came with our dog, and that turned out to be a great choice. Dogs are very welcome, and everything was already prepared for them, which we really appreciated. We stayed during Easter week, and although some time has passed, we still wanted to recommend the place. It’s surrounded by nature, a beautiful setting for getting away from it all. The staff were thoughtful and attentive throughout. We had a very positive stay and would gladly return.

A shelf in the bathroom for toiletries and an extra chair would be useful, especially for a stay of several days. Apart from those small suggestions, everything was excellent. The location makes it easy to explore the area and then come back to relax, and Paula and Pelayo were friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want. The views are lovely, the staff are friendly and attentive, and breakfast is included. Everything seemed quite clean, and there’s a terrace with a picnic area to enjoy the fresh air. The mattress is too short if you’re over 1.80m, and the pillows are practically nonexistent. Management should try sleeping on them for a couple of nights to understand the problem and do something about it. The biggest issue is how little rest you get. When people get up for breakfast, the noise is like they’re moving house. The floorboards creak like a pirate ship, and the staff use a handheld vacuum instead of sweeping or mopping. Between the noise and banging it against the walls, you end up wide awake and in a terrible mood. It’s fine if you only need a place to sleep before getting up early, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to rest. I’d return for the location and service, just not for the lack of peace and quiet.
