The surroundings are the reason to stay here, so the tiny TV didn't matter much. Beatriz, the owner, is lovely, and I had a good experience overall. The room was very basic, with a simple bed, and breakfast was bad. I’d still recommend it.

Beatriz and Marcelo were always on hand to sort out any problems and help us find the area's hidden gems. Their attention made us feel right at home during our two weeks there. The pool was fantastic, whether we were cooling off in the day or looking up at the starry sky at night. Our apartment was spacious, rustic but elegant, and had a hydromassage shower. The tasteful decor throughout and welcoming bar added to the stay. Set in a small village, the Hacienda was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the scenery and nature.
The pool was a little dirty because of problems with the water's physical and chemical quality. Still, the rooms were very nice, and it's a peaceful place for some quiet and self-discovery. There are lots of places to visit nearby, and the town itself is a must-see.
There's no restaurant here, and the village doesn't have a bar either. Getting to the guesthouse from Viana do Bolo usually means using some kind of transport. Breakfast is quite limited in terms of products. The rooms vary, as you'd expect in most rural guesthouses, and ours had a hydromassage shower.
It’s a shame there's no dinner available here, and breakfast could be better. The room itself was clean and nice, but the place could be much better.
